This is a large and magnificent diorama of a three masted Bark. The name of the Bark is unknown, but the age looks to be mid to late 1800's. It is most likely a British ship. The owners flag says "R. Caruso". This diorama is unique because it has not only the large bark, but also three smaller boats - one pilot boat and two steamer tugs.
The model is in original condition, hand made carved wooden sails. There are a total of 27 sails on the bark, and 9 on the pilot boat. There has been some minor restoration
Glass frame is "old" but probably not original to the diorama.

Inside - 47 3/4" wide X 23 1/2" high
Depth - 5 3/4"
